Sessions and set tracking

Sessions are the actual executions of programs. Each completed session is logged, set by set, to track progress over time.

Start a session

From your dashboard, launch the session planned for the day. Abyss Training shows:

  • The list of exercises planned, in order
  • The target sets and reps
  • The indicative load

You can also start a free session, without a program.

Track the sets

For each set, record the actual values:

  • Reps completed
  • Load used (weight, band, body weight)
  • RPE or perceived effort, if you use it
  • Notes, if any (pain, fatigue, technique)

Confirm the set: the data is saved. Move on to the next.

During the session

  • The rest timer kicks off automatically after each set, based on the planned duration.
  • You can add an unplanned exercise if you improvise.
  • A session can be paused and resumed later if needed.

After the session

The data is consolidated:

  • Total volume (sets × reps × load)
  • Max loads per exercise
  • Tonnage trend over the last weeks
  • Attendance: sessions completed vs planned

Coaches can review these metrics to tune the programs of the athletes they follow.
