Sessions and set tracking
Sessions are the actual executions of programs. Each completed session is logged, set by set, to track progress over time.
Start a session
From your dashboard, launch the session planned for the day. Abyss Training shows:
- The list of exercises planned, in order
- The target sets and reps
- The indicative load
You can also start a free session, without a program.
Track the sets
For each set, record the actual values:
- Reps completed
- Load used (weight, band, body weight)
- RPE or perceived effort, if you use it
- Notes, if any (pain, fatigue, technique)
Confirm the set: the data is saved. Move on to the next.
During the session
- The rest timer kicks off automatically after each set, based on the planned duration.
- You can add an unplanned exercise if you improvise.
- A session can be paused and resumed later if needed.
After the session
The data is consolidated:
- Total volume (sets × reps × load)
- Max loads per exercise
- Tonnage trend over the last weeks
- Attendance: sessions completed vs planned
Coaches can review these metrics to tune the programs of the athletes they follow.
