Training programs

A program gathers several sessions toward a clear goal: muscle gain, physical preparation, return from injury, competition prep.

Create a program

From the Programs menu, click New program and fill in:

  • Name of the program (for example "Strength 6 weeks")
  • Goal (strength, hypertrophy, endurance, fat loss)
  • Planned duration
  • General description, prerequisites, advice

Structure the program

A program is composed of template sessions. For each session you choose:

  • The exercises picked from the library
  • The number of sets and reps for each
  • The indicative load (weight, percentage of 1RM, RPE)
  • The rest time between sets

Exercise order matters: Abyss Training keeps the order you define and applies it every time the session is performed.

Assign a program

Once built, a program can be:

  • Followed by yourself (personal program)
  • Assigned to one or more athletes you coach
  • Made available to a team

Each assigned person finds the upcoming sessions on their dashboard.

Revise and evolve

A program is revised as athletes progress: add or remove exercises, adjust loads, duplicate a program to spin off a v2.
