Sharing
Atlas is built for collaborative work. Sharing uses the centralized sharing system common to the whole Abyss suite.
Sharing targets
From an Atlas's Share menu, you can grant access to:
- a specific user (by email)
- a team from your organization
- the whole organization
- anyone through a public link (no account required)
Access levels
Every share has a level:
- VIEW — read only
- EDIT — can modify the Atlas, its pages and documents
- MANAGE — can modify AND manage shares
The Atlas creator always has the MANAGE level.
Public link
A public link grants access to anyone holding the URL, with no sign-in needed. Handy to share a guide with a client, a partner or a candidate. You can revoke the link at any time from the Share menu.
Content visibility
- A private Atlas is never indexed and is not accessible without an explicit share.
- Public links are read-only (unless you pick an EDIT level when sharing).
Remove an access
Open the Share menu, find the access in the list, then ⋯ → Remove. The user or team loses access immediately.
