Share my Cloud

Abyss Cloud relies on the standard Abyss sharing system. You can share a Space, a folder or an individual file.

Share targets​

  • User — a specific Abyss account (by email)
  • Team — every member of a team in your organization
  • Organization — every member of the organization
  • Project — every member with access to the project
  • Public link — anyone with the URL

Access levels​

  • VIEW — can read and download
  • EDIT — can add, modify, move
  • MANAGE — can do everything, including managing shares

You can generate a public link for a Space, folder or file. The link works without an Abyss account.

  • The link can be revoked at any time
  • You can regenerate the link (the old one becomes unusable)
  • You can restrict the access level

Public galleries​

To share a selection of images or media, create a gallery: it exposes a curated subset of files through a dedicated public link, presented in a carousel-style view.

Leave a share​

If a Space has been shared with you and you want to remove it from your list, open it and click Leave. Your access is removed but the Space stays for the others.
