Enable Abyss Service
The Abyss ecosystem groups several independent services (Monitor, Storage, Cloud, Crypt, Form, Memories, Spotlight, Banking, Tools, Training). Before you can use a service, it must be enabled on your account or your organization.
Where does activation happen?
Activation is configured at the organization level. Each organization maintains its own list of enabled services. When a service is enabled, it becomes available to every member of the organization, subject to their permissions.
For personal usage (without an organization), services are enabled on your user account. The principle is the same.
Enable a service
- Sign in to app.abyss-project.fr.
- Pick the target organization in the selector at the top of the UI (or stay on your personal space).
- Open the organization
Servicessection (orMy account>Servicesfor personal usage). - Find the service to enable in the list and click Enable.
The service appears immediately in the navigation and can be used. The Applications inside your projects can then rely on its features.
Disable a service
You can disable a service at any time from the same page. Disabling only stops access through the UI — existing data is not deleted and stays available if you re-enable the service later. To permanently remove data, follow the deletion procedure specific to each service.
Per-Application activation
Some features (for example monitoring through Abyss Monitor) are attached to a specific Application. In that case, after enabling the service at the organization level, you attach it to the relevant Application from its configuration page.
Key points
- Activation happens at the organization level, not per user.
- Enabling a service is free during the development phase.
- The list of enabled services evolves: if a service interests you but is not visible, reach out to support.
